(Sporting Alert) — Chelsea beat a Malaysia XI 4-1 in a pre-season friendly game in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
The English Premier League side opened the scoring after just six-minutes when Bertrand Traore guided home a cross past the goalkeeper.
Jose Mourinho’s men then went 2-0 up through Kevin De Bruyne, who blasted home a fantastic volley in the 29th minute, but injured his knee immediately afterwards after he fell awkwardly and was forced to miss the rest of the contest.
Striker, who scored the winner against Singha All-Stars, made it 3-0 just before half-time when he beat the off-side trap and then side-footed home.
Substitute Victor Moses added a fourth for Chelsea, while Fadhli Shas grabbed a goal for the Malaysia XI.
Chelsea defeated the Singha All-Stars 1-0 in their first preseason game.
Also on Sunday, another English Premier League team, Swansea City beat Exeter 2-0, with the goals coming from
Nathan Dyer in the 10th and Rory Donnelly, who scored five minutes before the end of the 90minutes.
