Cole Stoudt has made 16 of 20 in the first half on passes for 184 yards and two touchdown for the Tigers, which scored 17 points in the opening quarter.

At the other end, Trevor Knight is only 5 of 14 on completed passes for 27 yards, while turning the ball over two-times — one in which Ben Boulware returned 47 yards for a score.

Star freshman Samaje Perine has so far carried the ball 14 times for 62 yards for Oklahoma, who turned the ball over three times with sloppy plays.

A very animated Bob Stoops was not happy with the way his team played in the first half.

The experienced coach admits that he was very “frustrated” at the way his team gave the ball away in the first half, but wants them to continue to play hard.

“I told them that they need to stay positive,” Stoops told reporters, who added that he believes one of the breaks will fall for his team.
