College Basketball Schedule, TV Channels, Game Times: Jan. 9

College basketball Top 25 schedule and TV channels for Saturday, January 9. Ten games involving AP ranked teams are slated for today and you won’t have to miss any of them.

The action tips-off at Noon ET with three games.

At the CHI Health Center in Omaha, No. 7 Creighton will entertain St. John’s in a Big East Conference fixture. The Bluejays (9-2, 5-1) have won five straight coming into this game, while the Red Storm (6-5, 1-4) have dropped four of the last five outings.

Also at 12:00 p.m., the No. 15 ranked Rutgers Scarlet Knights (7-3, 3-3 Big Ten) will meet the Ohio State Buckeyes (8-3, 2-3). Ohio State is hoping to bounce back from back-to-back defeats to ranked sides Michigan State and Iowa, while Rutgers is aiming to recover from the defeat to No. 21 Minnesota.

No. 21 Duke will host Wake Forest at Cameron Indoor Stadium. After a long delay due to COVID-19 issues and contact tracing, the Blue Devils (4-2, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) finally return to the court on Wednesday with a narrow 83-82 victory over Boston College. The Demon Deacons (3-2, 0-2) are coming in on the back of two successive defeats in their recent outings to start the New Year.

Game To Watch: No. 4 Texas vs. No. 14 West Virginia

The WVU Coliseum in Morgantown will host the day’s ranked vs. ranked clash between No. 4 Texas and No. 14 West Virginia. The Longhorns (9-1, 3-0 Big 12) are searching for their sixth win in a row, while the Mountaineers (9-3, 2-2) are hoping to build on the 87-84 victory over Oklahoma State last time out.

Elsewhere, No. 2 Baylor (10-0, 3-0 Big 12) puts its ten-game undefeated run on the line against TCU (9-3, 2-2 Big 12) at the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, TX.

No. 1 1 Gonzaga (11-0, 2-0 WCC) is also in action this weekend, facing Portland (6-4, 0-1 WCC) at the Chiles Center at 8:00 p.m. ET, while No. 6 Kansas (9-2, 3-1 Big 12) will host Oklahoma (6-3, 2-2 Big 12) at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence.
