David De Gea Gets The Nod over Casillas in goal

(SportingAlert.com) — David De Gea, as expected, starts for Spain in tonight’s Euro 2016 Qualifying Group C game at Luxembourg.

The Manchester United goalkeeper replaces the out of form Real Madrid skipper Iker Casillas, who has been heavily criticized since the FIFA World Cup in the summer.

Making way as well is midfielder Cesc Fabregas, defenders Raúl Albiol and Juanfran, while Marc Bartra, Dani Carvajal and Paco Alcacer all coming into the starting team.

Andres Iniesta will captain the team tonight.

Diego Costa leads the attack again despite struggling since switching to his adopted country.

Stefano Bensi leads the attack for Luxembourg, while 17-year-old Christopher Martins Pereira also starts.

Spain will be hoping to bounce back from the midweek defeat to Slovakia.
