Arkansas, meanwhile, beat South Carolina in the Fayetteville Super Regional to earn its trip to the College Baseball World.

Both the Razorbacks and Texas slugged their way to Omaha, so this clash is expected to an exciting one that could run the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Game 2, Top seed Florida and No. 9 Texas Tech will battle at 7 pm, in a game streaming on ESPN3 and televised live on ESPN2.

The Gators have not always had things their own way at this NCAA tournament, but continuously found plans to get themselves out of tight situations.

The Red Raiders, in the meantime, are playing in their third College Baseball World Series in school history, after making appearances in 2014 and 2016.
