Diego Costa misses the game because of suspension so Drogba, who has scored once in the league this season, replaces him the attack for the London derby
Costa has been the main-man up front for Chelsea this season, but manager Jose Mourinho isn’t too worried.
“It’s two big clubs in London, there is a rivalry so it’s a big game,” said Mourinho.
“I don’t even think about Diego (Costa), I have Didier Drogba and Loic Remy on the bench.
“I trust my players, I don’t cry when others don’t play. We are ready.”
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has decided to bring back Erik Lamela into his starting lineup for Roberto Soldado, who scored the winning goal for his team in the 2-1 victory over Everton at the weekend.
The pacey Harry Kane leads the attack for the visitors, with Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Christian Eriksen and Aaron Lennon starting as well.
Defender Kyle Naughton is back from a two-match suspension and starts on the bench, but Emmanuel Adebayor, Etienne Capoue Danny Rose and Andros Townsend all miss out.
