LONDON, Sporting Alert – English Premier League schedule for gameweek 15 on Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11.
Everton and Watford will kick-off the weekend’s fixture when they battle at Vicarage Road.
The home side heads into the game with Everton searching for their first win against The Toffees in any competition since March 1987.
Both meetings last season between these two sides ended in draws, but Everton had previously won nine in a row in the series leading up to last year.
Arsenal will look to join Chelsea at the top of the table standings when they host Stoke City at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are on 31 points after 14 games, three behind the Blues, but would pull level on Saturday with three more points.
Arsenal will have midfielder Francis Coquelin back from suspension and could go straight into the starting lineup, while full-back Hector Bellerin faces a late fitness test.
Stoke City are currently ninth in the standings but could go as high as sixth and above Manchester United with a win.
In another game on the English Premier League schedule on Saturday, defending champions Leicester City will host Manchester City at King Power Stadium, looking to bounce back from some poor results recently.
The Foxes have lost three of the last five Premier League games and are just two points outside the relegation zone.
Manager Claudio Ranieri has questioned his team’s desire in the title defense, but Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola still thinks the defending champs are a “very good team.”
“Leicester remain a very good team,” Guardiola said. “I have a lot of respect for Ranieri. What happened last season was amazing.”
Elsewhere in the English Premier League schedule this weekend, Manchester United will host fellow top four contender Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday, leaders Chelsea will battle with West Brom at Stamford Bridge, while Liverpool host West Ham United at Anfield.
