MANCHESTER (SportingAlert) — The long wait is now finally over and the new Barclays Premier League season gets underway on Saturday.

Amongst the live TV and streaming networks for Saturday are BT Sport, NBC Sports Network, TalkSport Radio, Sportsnet Pacific, Sportsnet East, Sportsnet World Now, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West, Deportes Telemundo En Vivo, beIN Sports HD, Sky Go, BBC Radio,  Sky Sports 1/HD, NOW TV, Sky Go Extra, Premier League Extra Time, Fox Sports 1 Australia, ESPN Caribbean.

The season kicks-off with Dutch manager Louis van Gaal making his Premier League debut with Manchester United as the Red Devils play host to Swansea City at Old Trafford. Live broadcast and streaming will be on BT Sport, as well as NBC Sports Network.

Wayne Rooney will lead out Manchester United after the England striker was this week appointed new club captain by Van Gaal.

Also on Saturday, Chile forward Alexis Sanchez makes his Premier League debut with Arsenal as they take on managerless Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium. Sanchez made the transfer move to Arsenal and Premier League from Barcelona and the La Liga this summer and manager Arsene Wenger is expecting big things from the star forward.

Besides Manchester United and Arsenal games, there are five other contests on the schedule for Saturday.

Other kick-offs on the opening day of action on Saturday sees the newly promoted QPR hosting Hull City at Loftus Road Stadium, with both teams confident of making a winning start to their campaign. QPR are making a return to the English Premier, following a brief stint in the Championship last year.

Everton with its powerhouse forward Romelu Lukaku will battle with new boys Leicester City at King Power Stadium, West Ham face Tottenham at Boleyn Ground, the Britannia Stadium will be the place for the Stoke City against Aston Villa clash, while West Brom tackle Sunderland at The Hawthorns.
