Leaders Leicester City will look to extend its advantage at the top of the EPL standings when they take on Manchester United at King Power Stadium.

The Foxes are currently in red-hot form heading into the Premier League Week 14 and they would love to pull off another surprising upset against another of the league’s powerhouses.

Leicester City has collected 19 points from a possible 21 from the last seven games, thanks a bunch to the outstanding goalscoring form of striker Jamie Vardy.

Vardy heads into the battle with Manchester United on record-setting form after equalling Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive Premier League games and another goal against the Dutchman’s former club would see him taking over the record.

The England forward has so far scored 13 goals on the term and his manager Claudio Ranieri expects him to keep the trend going.

“I think it’s good that Jamie has this idea [to break the record] maybe all his team-mates try to help him of course, but the main idea is the team and after, there is Jamie,” Ranieri said on Leicester City official website at www.lcfc.com.

“I hope for him, for Leicester fans. Also for the record because sooner or later, somebody will break the record and I hope Jamie does it.”

Manchester United are sitting second in the EPL standings, one point behind their opponents on Saturday, but Louis van Gaal’s side hasn’t been playing well and several pundits and former Red Devils have been criticizing the manager for the negative plays on the season.

Let’s watch and see if United can turn in a good performance on the road this weekend, or will it be the Foxes, who continue racing away at the top.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Manchester City will take on Southampton at Etihad Stadium, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United face-off at Selhurst Park, while on Sunday, the London derby between defending champion Chelsea and Tottenham at White Hart Lane, will be one of the main highlights.
