Kentucky College Basketball Top 25 Rankings ESPN3

ESPN3 College Basketball Live Fixtures On Jan.5

TULSA, Okla., Sporting Alert – NCAA DI college basketball games streaming live on ESPN3 and television coverage for Tuesday, Jan. 5.

College Basketball Live AP Top 25 Games:

No. 8 Providence and No. 9 Kentucky are among the AP Top 25 ranked teams set for action on Tuesday.

At the Dunkin Donuts Center, in Rhode Island, Providence (14-1) will take on Marquette, looking to stay undefeated at home.

The Friars, who are among the early leaders in the race for the Big East title, are 9-0 away from the road and have started conference play with a 2-0 record. The recently knocked off then-No. 9 Butler 81-73 in Big East play.

Marquette is 10-4 overall this season, but the Golden Eagles are sitting close to the bottom of the conference standings without a win after the first two league fixtures, and are currently on a two-game losing streak. Providence is favored by 9.5 points to win, and this game will be live on Fox Sports 1.

The ninth-ranked Kentucky, meanwhile, is expected to have a more challenging outing when it travels to take on LSU at Pete Maravich Assembly Center, in Baton Rouge.

The Wildcats (11-2) are the 5.5 favorites in this game, but could find the battle a bit more difficulty coming up against Ben Simmons.

Simmons leads the underachieving Tigers (8-5) in every department this year — averaging 20.5 points, shooting 57.4 percent, while collected 13.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.4 per blocks per contest.

If Kentucky can keep the freshman quiet then they shouldn’t have many problems. So the likes of Keith Hornsby, Craig Victor II and Tim Quarterman will need to support more if LSU wants to win this one.

In other games involving AP Top 25 ranked sides, No. 22 South Carolina (13-0) will put its undefeated start on the line against Auburn (7-5), No. 18 Butler (11-3) and DePaul (6-8) will meet at Allstate Arena in Illinois, while No. 23 Connecticut (10-3) entertains Temple (6-6) and Nebraska (8-7) travels to face No. 19 Iowa (11-3) which is yet to taste a defeat at home this season.

The clash between Clemson and Syracuse will battle at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York, and this game is streaming live on ESPN3 and WatchESPN. See below for more.

The Orange (10-5) are on a two-game bleed and will be hoping to stop the skid against the Tigers (8-6) who are on a three-game losing streak and have dropped four of the last five games overall.
