FIFA World Cup round of 16 games schedule

RIO DE JANEIRO (SportingAlert) — The following is the complete list of FIFA World Cup round of 16 games that will get underway on Saturday 28 June and ends on Tuesday 1 July.

On Saturday, host Brazil will get the action started in the knock-out round when Neymar and company take on a very tricky Chile side, which is buzzing with confidence. There is also belief in the Chile champ that they can upset the host nation Brazil.

The other game on Saturday will see Uruguay, without the services of star forward Luis Suarez, will face a streaking red-hot Colombia side, favoured to progress in the tournament with a win.

Elsewhere in the round of last 16, Netherlands will face Mexico, Germany and Algeria will lock horns, while USA, which came out of a very difficult Group that had included the German, Portugal and Ghana, will have their hands full against a talented Belgium team.

Lionel Messi and Argentina have booked a date with Switzerland, this game being the first on the day next week Tuesday.
