Final Medal Carifta Games Standings – Jamaica tops tally with 88 medals

Fort de France, Martinique (Sporting Alert) — The following is the final table standing after day three and final day of the 2014 Carifta Games in Fort-De-France, Martinique on Monday night.

Defending champions Jamaica, who led from the first day of the championships, went on to dominate the Games, achieving a record 88 medals over the three day event.

Included in that record breaking tally were a staggering 42 gold medals, with 34 silver medals and 12 bronze medals completing the list.

Trinidad and Tobago finished second in the medal standings with 25 medals, including 6 golds, 7 silvers and 12 bronze, while Barbados came third with 16 medals, which consisted of 5 golds, 5 silvers and 6 bronzes.
