GLASGOW (Sporting Alert) — Order of events on Friday for the two day IAAF Diamond League meeting in Glasgow on Friday at Hampden Park.

The Sainsbury’s Glasgow Grand Prix, which will host several World and Olympic medallists, begins at 17:30 local time (GMT) with the men’s Shot Put competition with the top three Diamond League leaders, including No. 1 Joe Kovacs of USA all set to step into the ring.
Action in the men’s 110m hurdles heats at 18:26, is the first event on the track on Friday and this will be followed by the Men’s and Women’s 400m hurdles.
Also on the track on day one are the men’s 100m and 200m events, as well as the 5000m open for men.
The Glasgow Diamond League meeting is the ninth stage of the season and several athletes are using it as a final preparation for the Commonwealth Games, which will take place in the same city.
