Jeff Green hits late 3-pointer, Celtics stun Heat, 111-110

MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Jeff Green nailed a three-pointer jumper with time expiring and the Boston Celtics stunned two-time defending champions Miami Heat 111-110 at AmericanAirlines Arena on Saturday night.

Trailing 108-110 with 0:01 left in the game, Green, finished with a team high 24 points, scored the winning bucket for Boston (3-4) who played the reigning champions very closely throughout the game.

Avery Bradley finished with 17 points, Jordan Crawford added 15 and Jared Sullinger scored 12 off the bench for the Celtics in the win.

LeBron James had 25 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds to lead the way for the Miami Heat (4-3), with Chris Bosh contributing 20 points and seven boards.

Dwyane Wade scored 18 points and dished out seven assists for the Heat, which was outscored 54-48 in the paint.
