Man United manager David Moyes has recalled veteran center-back Rio Ferdinand, who starts his first game since 10 December as he leads the heart of the defence where he’ll play alongside Jonny Evans.
Starting also are Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa, Darren Fletcher and Alexander Büttner, with Anders Lindegaard starting in goal and David de Gea on the bench.
But as expected, there is no Wayne Rooney or Robin van Persie who are both out injured.
Michael Laudrup makes five changes to the Swansea City side which lost to Manchester City on New Year’s Day, with Leon Britton amongst those making a return in the midfield.
However, leading center-back and club captain Ashley Williams is only on the bench.
