Following the impressive outing in the last game, Rodgers has decided to keep his faith with the same starting XI that crushed Everton 4-0 in the Merseyside derby victory in midweek.
Meanwhile, midfielder Joe Allen is fit enough to be named among the substitutes following more than a fortnight on the sidelines.
Gareth McAuley returns to the West Brom side in place of Diego Lugano, as manager Pepe Mel makes five changes – two enforced – from the side that was beaten 4-3 by Aston Villa.
Zoltan Gera, Saido Berahino and Matej Vydra all make a return to the starting line-up, with James Morrison and Nicolas Anelka (knee) miss out with injury and Victor Anichebe back on the bench.
