Liverpool v Everton Starting Teams

LIVERPOOL (Sporting Alert) — The following are the starting lineups and team news for today’s Barclays Premier League “Merseyside derby” clash between Everton and Liverpool at Anfield.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers makes two changes from the side that was defeated by West Ham last weekend the last time out, but England striker Daniel Sturridge misses out again after failing to recover from an injury.

There are starting places though for summer signings Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic, with Jordan Henderson, Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling and Mario Balotelli all starting as well.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez, meanwhile, has handed defender Tony Hibbert his first Barclays Premier League start since December 2012.

Hibbert, who recently returned to action plays in the place of the injured Seamus Coleman.
