UPDATED: Wayne Rooney volleyed home to give Manchester United a 1-0 lead in the second half of the clash against Liverpool. Rooney put back into the roof the net in the 78th minute after Marouane Fellaini’s header came off the cross bar.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has made one change to his line-up from the Liverpool team that finished 3-3 in midweek with Arsenal for Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
The lone change sees Lucas Leiva replacing Jordon Ibe in the starting team, as Klopp looks to tighten things up in the midfield to give his team a chance of beating United.
Christian Benteke, Steven Caulker, Joe Allen, Jordon Ibe and Joao Carlos Teixeira are all on the bench.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, in the meantime, has decided to keep faith with the same starting lineup that drew 3-3 at Newcastle United at Tuesday for this trip to Anfield.
This means that Spain playmaker Juan Mata remains on the bench, alongside Memphis Depay, while Guillermo Varela replaced James Weir.
