Manchester City v QPR Live Updates, Standings, Scores

MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Live updates, scores and images from the English Premier League clash between Manchester City and relegation threatened Queens Park Rangers.

QPR come into this game knowing that anything less than a victory will end their fight for survival as they will join Burnley, who are already relegated despite winning on Saturday.

Manchester City, who are level on 70 points with Arsenal, can go clear second with a victory, though the Gunners will have a game in hand.

QPR will also be without midfielder Sandro, who is not available because of an issue concerning his visa, the club said in a statement before the contest.

“The club can confirm it was informed by the Home Office on Thursday May 7 that there is an issue with Sandro’s UK residency visa,” a statement from QPR read.

Meanwhile, the visitors make two changes from the side which was edged out at Liverpool in the last outing Nedum Onuoha out because of suspension and Sandro due to his visa issues.

In come Yun Suk-young and Bobby Zamora for the clash at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City have handed another starting place to veteran midfield Frank Lampard as they go into this clash unchanged from the starter which beat Tottenham last weekend.

This means traveling midfielder Yaya Toure, who continues to be linked away from the club, is only on the bench, along with captain and leading defender Vincent Kompany, forwards Edin Dzeko and Wilfried Bony and winger Jesus Navas.

Man City are the overwhelming favourites to collect all three points and they enter the contest unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions against QPR.

QPR: Green, Yun, Caulker, Dunne, Hill, Phillips, Barton, Henry, Fer, Austin, Zamora – Subs: Wright-Phillips, McCarthy, Kranjcar, Hoilett, Furlong, Grego-Cox, Comley.

Man City: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernando, Milner, Fernandinho, Lampard, Silva, Aguero – Subs: Caballero, Sagna, Kompany, Toure, Navas, Dzeko, Bony
