Manager Manuel Pellegrini makes six changes to his Manchester City starting squad with Lampard getting a starting place in midfield over Yaya Toure, who is on the bench.
Sergio Aguero, who has scored five goals in five Premier League meetings against Spurs starts as the lone forward in the attack with Edin Dzeko, who has netted six goals in six league games against Spurs and Stevan Jovetic both on the bench if needed.
