MANCHESTER, Sporting Alert — Manchester United will go third in the English Premier League standings with a win over Swansea City at Old Trafford on Sunday. Check out the latest TV Channels.

The Red Devils are currently sitting fifth heading into the weekend’s fixtures, but will play in the early game Sunday morning, and a win would see them overtaking both Manchester City and Liverpool before those clubs kick-off later in the day.

Kick-off time for the Manchester United v Swansea City game is at 7:00 am ET.

Liverpool are third at the moment with 66 points, two more than Manchester United, but the Reds have also played one game more than Jose Mourinho’s team.

Manchester City are fourth with 65 points.

In early team news ahead of the English Premier League clash, Manchester United will be without Marouane Fellaini for Sunday’s game after the midfielder was sent off in the Manchester derby on Thursday.

Forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Marcos Rojo are both out for the season with knee damages.

Midfielder Paul Pogba (muscle) is expected to be out with an injury, while defenders Chris Smalling (knee) and Phil Jones (foot) are also on the sidelines.

Playmaker Juan Mata (groin), however, could make a return, as according to UK newspaper, the Daily Mail, the Spaniard is fit to play.

Meanwhile, Swansea City could have trio Leroy Fer, Martin Olsson and Jack Cork available for the trip to Old Trafford.

Cork (ankle) and Olsson (hamstring) both missed last weekend’s 2-0 home victory against Stoke City, while Fer suffered a dead leg in the early minutes of that game.

The team reports that Angel Rangel (foot), Nathan Dyer (Achilles) and Wayne Routledge (hernia) continue to be out.
