Blake Griffin scored 24 points and Chris Paul dished out 15 assists to help the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Toronto Raptors 104-98 in an NBA preseason game on Wednesday night.
The game was close with 1:24 remaining in the fourth quarter with the Clippers leading the game 96-94.
However, the Clippers outlasted the visitors in the last 80 seconds to bounce back from the hammering against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
Griffin knocked down two of three 3-pointers and went 10-of-13 from the floor overall, while pulling down eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Raymond Felton scored 17 points and had five rebounds, DeAndre Jordan ended with 14 points and 10 boards and Austin Rivers ended with 10 points for the Clippers.
DeMar DeRozan went 8-of-11 from the floor to end with 20 points, and Cory Joseph and Brady Heslip each had 13 for the Raptors.
Patrick Patterson finished with 10 points, four rebounds and four steals in the defeat for Toronto.
In the meantime, Jordan McRae had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Kay Felder scored 14 points for the Cleveland Cavaliers in their 117-102 victory over the Orlando Magic.
LeBron James played 13 minutes, went 3-of-4 from the field for seven points and six assists.
Jonathan Holmes and Channing Frye scored 12 points each and Cory Jefferson pulled down 11 boards for the Cavs in their first NBA preseason game this term.
All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving and star forward Tristan Thompson did not feature for the Cavaliers.
Irving was rested, while Thompson was held out of preseason contest due to a stiff left foot, according to OrlandoMagic.com.
Jeff Green led the Magic with 19 points, Mario Hezonja ended with 17 and Evan Fournier scored 14 in the defeat for Orlando.
In other NBA preseason games, Utah Jazz topped the Phoenix Suns 104-99, while the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated Spanish side Barcelona, 92-89 on the road.
