Scores and results from the NBA preseason games that took place on Friday night, Dec. 11, with the Lakers and Rockets among the teams picking up a win.

Montrezl Harrell recorded a double-double in his preseason debut with Los Angeles Lakers against his former team LA Clippers Montrezl Harrell in an 87-81 victory for the reigning NBA champions.

Alfonzo McKinnie, LeBron James and Anthony Davis who are listed as day-to-day before the game did not feature.

Harrell went for 13 points and 12 rebounds in his first game for the Lakers since leaving the Clippers. Talen Horton-Tucker scored 19, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals and Kyle Kuzma ended with 18 points and five assists for the Lakers.

Dennis Schroder ended with 10 points for Los Angeles.

Paul George scored 10 points for the Clippers, while Kawhi Leonard took three shots for three points with seven rebounds and two steals.

Ivica Zubac ended grabbed 10 rebounds for the Clippers, who played 13 players off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets made 24 shots from 3-pointers in a 125-104 win over the Chicago Bulls.

John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins both impressed in their preseason debut with Houston. Wall had 13 points nine assists, five rebounds and two steals and Cousins had 14 points, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks, as the pair combined to shoot 11-for-17 from the field.

Bruno Caboclo top scored for the Rockets with 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds with three blocks, while Eric Gordon and Gerald Green each scored 16 points in the win.

Houston shot 46.2% from 3-point range on 24-for-52 attempts.

Coby White scored 15 points with six assists for the Bulls. Lauri Markkanen ended with 13 points, Noah Vonleh collected 12 points and eight rebounds, while Zach LaVine and Patrick Williams also scored 12 points for Chicago in the defeat.

In another NBA preseason game on Friday night, Carmelo Anthony scores 21 points, with four rebounds and two assists as the Portland Blazers defeat the Sacramento Kings 127-102.

Harry Giles III finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds and Gary Trent Jr. scored 18 for Portland.

Buddy Hield scored 23 points for Sacramento.

Elsewhere, Knicks rookie Obi Toppin puts out 11 points and seven off the bench in his New York preseason debut in a 90-84 win over the Detroit Pistons. He played for 20 minutes.

The night’s other game saw the Orlando Magic edging past the Atlanta Hawks, 116-112.
