Basketball scores and schedule for tonight

MIAMI, FL —— It’s another exciting day of NBA action, with a full slate of games on tap for today. Here’s a preview of the schedule and some of the key storylines to watch:

The Brooklyn Nets will be looking to extend their 12-game winning streak as they take on the Chicago Bulls. The Nets are led by star forward Kevin Durant, who is averaging 29.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game this season. 

The Bulls, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from a 145-134 overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. This game is set to tip off at 8:00 pm EST and will be televised on ESPN, as well as being available to stream on the ESPN App and WatchESPN.

Milwaukee Bucks will visit the Toronto Raptors one night after Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 55 points in the Bucks’ 123-113 win against the Washington Wizards. Antetokounmpo is having another MVP-caliber season, averaging 32.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. The Raptors will be looking to bounce back from a 103-101 loss to the Orlando Magic.

All eyes will be in Cleveland when the Cavaliers welcome the Phoenix Suns after Donovan Mitchell scored 71 points in the overtime win over Chicago. Mitchell heads into this matchups averaging 29.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game this season. The Suns are coming off a 115-99 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Memphis will seek their fourth win in a row as they take on the Charlotte Hornets. The Grizzlies are led by point guard Ja Morant, who is averaging 27.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game this season. Charlotte is looking to bounce back from their loss to the Suns. Action in this encounter scheduled for a 7:00 pm EST start.

Golden State aim for a sixth consecutive victory against the Detroit Pistons. With Steph Curry still out, the Warriors will be led by star guard Klay Thompson, who is averaging 20.3 points per game this term. The Pistons are coming off a 105-92 win over the Washington Wizards.

The Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks will both look to snap four-game skids as they face the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings, respectively. The Hawks are led by point guard Trae Young, who is averaging 27.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 10.0 assists per game this season. These games are set to tip off at 8:00 pm EST and 10:00 pm EST, respectively.

In addition to these games, there are several other matchups on tap for today. The Indiana Pacers will visit the Philadelphia 76ers, the Oklahoma City Thunder will face the Orlando Magic, and the Portland Trail Blazers will visit the Minnesota Timberwolves. 

Finally, the Miami Heat will visit the Los Angeles Lakers in a matchup of two of the league’s top teams. This game is set to tip off at 10:00 pm EST and will be televised on ESPN, as well as being available to stream on the ESPN App and WatchESPN.
