DALLAS — Kyle Lowry had a double-double of 27 points and 10 assists, and the Toronto Raptors beat the Dallas Mavericks 102-91 on Tuesday night to make its first 4-0 start in franchise history.

Lowry, who shot 9 of 15 from the field, also grabbed five rebounds, three steals and two blocks for the Raptors (4-0), who used a 12-0 run to pull away midway in the fourth quarter.
DeMar DeRozan scored 20 points, and Luis Scola had 19 points and 12 rebounds for Toronto in the victory.
Jonas Valanciunas added 16 points and had eight rebounds for the visitors, who struggled from 3-point range after going just 5 of 17 from behind the arc.
Dirk Nowitzki paced the Mavericks with 18 points, while point guard Deron Williams finished with 13 points in his home debut.
Dwight Powell collected 10 points and 10 rebounds, but no other Dallas players reached double figures.

MIAMI — Jeff Teague poured in 26 points and dished out nine assists to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 98-92 win over the Miami Heat in an NBA game on the road on Tuesday night.
Teague ended with six rebounds and went 9 of 18 from the floor.
Al Horford had a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds and Paul Millsap finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Hawks (4-1), who have won four in a row after opening the season with a defeat.
Hassan Whiteside scored 23 points on 11 of 12 shooting and pulled down 14 boards and had four block shots to lead the way for Miami (2-2), which shot 44.2 percent from the field, but was at 17.9 percent from long range.
Despite being on the losing team, Whiteside managed to join two former Heat standouts, Alonzo Mourning and Shaquille O’Neal, after STATS reported that he became only the third center from the franchise to shoot at least 11 of 12 and block four shots in a contest.
Leading guard Dwyane Wade scored 21 points on 8 of 15, with Goran Dragic ending with 19 points, five rebounds and three steals for the Heat.
