NCAA DI Cross Country Regional Championships Results

(Sporting Alert) — The following is a list result links for the NCAA DI Cross Country Regional Championships, which took place on Friday afternoon.

The Regional Championships are the path-way for teams to qualify for the NCAA National Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. on Nov. 23.

Top two finishing teams from each region, in addition to four individual runners, not associated with those teams will win automatic slots to next week’s championships. The NCAA panel will also reward additional teams and individuals at-large bits to compete at the event.

There were no major surprises on Friday, as the likes of Colorado, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Arkansas and Northern Arizona progressed on the men’s side and Florida State, Arizona, Iowa State, Arkansas and Providence on the women’s.

Villanova men and women won the Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships, while No.2 Northern Arizona shocked No. 1 Colorado on the men’s side in the race for the Mountain Region Cross Country Championships.
