Premier League Fixtures, Channels and Times: March 5

LONDON, Sporting Alert – The following are the English Premier League fixtures and table standings heading into the list of games this weekend.

The action gets underway with the matchup between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in a London derby that could play a massive part in the title race.

Tottenham head into Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off sitting in second place and three points behind Leicester City, but can go top, at least temporarily, until the Foxes play later in the day.

Arsenal, in the meantime, are losing precious grounds on the top two sides and need to beat the Spurs on the road to close that gap.

The Gunners haven’t won in four games overall and have lost two games in a row in the Premier League.

They were beaten 3-2 by Manchester United on Sunday before losing 2-1 to Swansea City in their midweek fixture.

Tottenham were beaten 1-0 by West Ham United in midweek.

Leaders Leicester City will take on Watford on the road hoping to maintain their three-point advantage over the chasers.

Chelsea play host to Stoke City, Everton and West Ham United meet at Goodison Park, Manchester City, desperate to stop a three-game bleed, are favourites to end that run against Aston Villa, while Newcastle United face Bournemouth, Southampton tackle Sunderland and Swansea City host Norwich City.

On Sunday, Crystal Palace and Liverpool will clash, with West Bromwich Albion hosting Manchester United in the other game.
