Di Maria, who left Real Madrid to join Manchester United two summers ago, now suits up for PSG after spending just one season in England.

The Argentine international will now feature for the French champions where he will start in the midfield alongside Marco Verratti, Thiago Motta and Blaise Matuidi.

The powerful attacking line will see Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani leading the offense, with Thiago Silva being partnered by Brazilian countryman Marquinhos, who takes the place of another Brazil centre-back David Luiz, who is out with a knee injury.

Serge Aurier and Maxwell also start in the backline, with Kevin Trapp in goal.

Meanwhile, as expected, there is no Gareth Bale, who misses the game after he aggravated a calf injury during Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Levante over the weekend.

With Karim Benzema also out, it means Jesse will join Cristiano Ronaldo and Isco in the attack.

James Rodriguez is also missing from the lineup as well.

Lucas, Toni Kroos and Casemiro are in the midfield, while Mateo Kovacic and Luka Modric are both on the bench for the Spanish giants.

Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos are the starting centre-backs with Danilo and Marcelo starting as the full-backs.

Lucas Moura, Layvin Kurzawa, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Gregory van der Wiel, Adrien Rabiot and Javier Pastore are among the substitutes for PSG

Both sides are confident about taking all three points from this game.

This is also setting up to be a very entertaining game, as both clubs also like to play attacking football.

Look out for Ronaldo to get on the scoresheet again in this contest.

The same as to be said about Swedish forward Ibrahimovic, who is a natural scorer in big games.

PSG Team To Face Real Madrid: Trapp, Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Aurier, Verratti, Motta, Matuidi, Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Di Maria. Subs: Sirigu, Kurzawa, Van der Wiel, Moura, Rabiot, Pastore, Lavezzi.

Real Madrid Team To Face PSG: Navas, Danilo, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Isco, Lucas Vazquez, Jese, Cristiano Ronaldo. Subs: Casilla, Nacho, Kovacic, Modric, Cheryshev, Llorente, Mayoral.
