(Sporting Alert) — David Villa and Diego Costa both start for Atletico Madrid as they play host to Real Sociedad in Sunday’s Spanish La Liga at Vicente Calderon.

Villa and the on form Costa will lead the attack as Atletico look to take advantage of Barcelona’s shocking defeat on Saturday and go top of the league standings with a victory.
A win Sunday will see Diego Simeone side going three-points clear of the defending champions and six ahead of fellow title rivals Real Madrid, who are away to Athletic Bilbao later on in the day.
Also starting for Atletico Madrid are Koke, Gabi, Mario Suarez, Diego Godin and Juanfran.
Mexican striker Carlos Vela starts in the attack for Real Sociedad, with Antoine Griezmann, Xabi Prieto and Ruben Pardo in the midfield.
Spanish international Inigo Martinez is amongst the starters in the backline.
