Rose scores 26pts, Chicago beat Oklahoma City in preseason

WICHITA, Kan. (Sporting Alert) — Derrick Rose scored 26 points and Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng each recorded double-doubles in the Chicago Bulls’ 104-95 preseason win over the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan., Wednesday night.

Rose, who struggled in the first half to knock down his shots, but came alive in the second, knocked down three 3-pointers in the final 4 minutes as Chicago rallied back. The former MVP also finished with six rebounds and four assists.

Carlos Boozer had 20 points and 14 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, while Deng added 20 points  and 10 rebounds for Chicago (7-0) in the win.

The Bulls remain the only undefeated team in preseason,

Kevin Durant, returning to the starting lineup after he was rested against the Phoenix Suns, led the Thunder with  22 points, five assists and four rebounds in 32 minutes and Jeremy Lamb added 20 points from 9 of 16 shooting.

Starting point guard Reggie Jackson had 14 points and six assists, while Nick Collison chipped in with 12 points and Steven Adams, 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench in the defeat for Oklahoma City.

OKC played with the injured The Russell Westbrook, and the rested Serge Ibaka, the Bulls were without Kirk Hinrich and Joakim Noah.
