(SportingAlert.com) — Shinji Kagawa played the full 90-minutes in Japan’s 1-0 victory over Cyprus in a Fifa World Cup warm-up game on Tuesday at Saitama Stadium.
The Manchester United playmaker, who has seen limited time on the pitch in a difficult and disappoint year for the English Premier League this past season, was given a full game run for Japan’s by head coach Alberto Zaccheroni , as the boss seek to work on his game sharpness in time for the World Cup.
It is understood that Zaccheroni is still not satisfied with Kagawa’s game-readiness and will continue to give more minutes.
