LONDON, Sporting Alert – Jose Mourinho has made four changes to his Manchester United starting XI for today’s English Premier League game at Crystal Palace.
Today’s fixture sees defenders Eric Bailly and Daley Blind, playmaker Juan Mata and attacker Wayne Rooney all returning to the starting lineup as Manchester United aim to win back-to-back games for the first time since August.
Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is out injured with the ankle injury he suffered in the win over Tottenham on Sunday, while Antonio Valencia is suspended.
Anthony Martial, who is not in the squad and Marcus Rashford, who is on the bench, are the others making way today.
Also returning to the bench for Manchester United is German World Cup winner and experienced midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, with Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini also on the bench.
The hard-working Ander Herrera, level-headed Michael Carrick and big money midfielder Paul Pogba also start in the middle of the park, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic leading the attack.
For Crystal Palace, winger Wilfried Zaha will start against his former club, while Christian Benteke will lead the attack.
Mathieu Flamini, Yohan Cabaye and Chung-Yong Lee also start.
