MIAMI, FL (10 December) —— The following are the AP Top 25 women’s college basketball scores on Sunday, December 11, as No. 1 South Carolina cruised to victory, while No. 6 UConn suffered a disappointing road defeat.

Top-ranked South Carolina (9-0) stayed undefeated this season with a comfortable 88-39 victory over Liberty. Zia Cooke scored a season-high 20 points and reserve forward Sania Feagin added a career-high 14 points for the Gamecocks, who returned from a weeklong break to complete exams –to win their ninth game this season.

Meanwhile, the sixth ranked UConn fell to a second defeat this season –going down 85-78 to No. 20 Maryland, while joint No. 8 rank teams North Carolina defeated Wofford 99-67 and NC State beat South Florida 65-57.
