Jose Mourinho makes two changes from the goalless draw at Chelsea with Toby Alderweireld making a return to the Tottenham starting line-up after missing the last three games.

He comes in for Jodon Rodon, who drops to the bench, while Giovani Lo Celso comes in for Tanguy Ndombele in the other change to the side. Ndombele is not in the Spurs matchday squad altogether.

In Arsenal team news, summer signing Thomas Partey starts after returning from injury, with Rob Holding and Alexandre Lacazette also start in a side that sees three changes from last week’s defeat to Wolves.

Dani Ceballos and Joe Willock drop to the Arsenal bench, while David Luiz, as expected is not in the matchday squad after last week’s head injury incident.

Tottenham are second in the EPL standings entering this game behind leaders Chelsea, but will return to the top with a victory.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are 15th place in the table standings and would prefer not to lose further ground on those teams above them in the chase for a Top 4 spot.

Jose Mourinho’s Spurs side played four Premier League games in November, winning three and drawing the other to collect 10 points from a possible 12.

Things have not been the same for the Gunners in the month of November, though, with Mikel Arteta side winning just once in four EPL outings, including a 2-1 defeat to Wolves at the Emirates Stadium the last time out.

Arsenal have scored just two goals in those last four Premier League outings and conceding five at the other end.

Alexandre Lacazette is Arsenal’s leading goalscorer this season with three goals, while captain and fellow striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as well as defender Gabriel both net twice so far.

For Tottenham Heung-Min Son has scored nine times already in the league with Harry Kane finding the back of the net seven times.
