MIAMI, FL — Video highlights and report as the Milwaukee Bucks made a NBA-record 29 3-points en rout to a 144-97 victory over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

Khris Middleton hit four 3-pointers on his way to scoring 25 points, Jrue Holiday made 6 of 10 attempts from 3-pointers in his 24-point performance, while Donte DiVincenzo connected on 5-for-6 from long-range to finish with 17 points for the Bucks (2-2), who bounced back from a dismal display from 3-pointers in the loss to New York on Sunday.
Milwaukee used 13 players on the night, with all but two-time reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was 0-for-2, failing to make a 3 point shot.
Middleton, who shot 10 of 13 from the field, added five assists, four rebounds and two steals, Holiday added seven assists and three steals, while Antetokounmpo went 3-of-9 from the field to finish with nine points, six assits, six rebounds and three steals.
Sam Merrill only scored three points and had just one shot, but his bucket was the record-breaker at the 28th 3-pointer with 6:07 remaining. The Milwaukee Bucks led Miami 131-86 at the time.
The previous record for 3-pointers made in a game was 27, which was set by the Houston Rockets against the Phoenix Suns on April 7, 2019.
Tyler Herro scored 23 points and seven assists to lead the Heat, who were without All-Star forward Jimmy Butler after he missed the game with a right ankle sprain.
Kendrick Nunn scored 15 points and six assists off the bench, fellow reserve Avery Bradley finished with 14 points, while Bam Adebayo was held to 12 points with six rebounds and four assists in the defeat for Miami (1-2).
