HOUSTON (Sporting Alert) — Stephen Curry scored 18 points in a dominating opening two quarters for Golden State as the Warriors lead the Rockets 62-37 at halftime in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals.

Curry has shot 4-of-7 from the field and the No. 1 overall seed is +23 with him on the court in this game. The All-Star point guard also has five assists and four rebounds.
He also went 2-of-4 from three-point range, which helped him to set a record of for the most three-pointers in single postseason (59) – improving the old mark of 58, set by Reggie Miller in 2000.
Andrew Bogut has so far scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Warriors, who are 54-0 when they have a lead of 15 points or more at any point during a game this season.
Right now they lead by 25 points, so the history would suggest they’ll be 55-0 at the end of this contest.
Dwight Howard is the only Houston player in double digits in the first half and he has a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
MVP runner-up James Harden has been struggling to hit his shots and is 1-of-8 from the field for just 8 points.
