LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Manchester City leading center-back and captain Vincent Kompany will miss the highlighted Premier League clash with Chelsea, while the home side welcome back Ashley Cole from injury.

Kompany has been ruled out of the game with a thigh problem, while means that Javi Garcia could be in the backline once again, despite not being at his best in that position.

Striker Sergio Aguero, who scored twice in the Champions League win over CSKA Moscow and Alvaro Negredo will start in the attack once again with Edin Dzeko starting on the bench at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, England left-back Cole is back in contention for a recall after recovering from a rib problem. He is set to replace Cesar Azpilicueta, who played at that position in the Champions League win over Schalke in midweek.
