This matchup will see two of the nation’s top quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson going head-to-head in what is expected to be a thriller.

There is no doubt that QB Jackson is the current Heisman front-runner and he will lead the Cardinals (4-0) who are going for a fifth straight victory on the season.

So far, Jackson has accounted for 25 touchdowns for Louisville and has thrown for 1,330 yards and rushed for 526 yards – with a QBR of 93.4.

Meanwhile, preseason Heisman Trophy favourite Watson has tallied 996 yards in the air thus far and nine touchdowns.

In the last performance, the Tigers (4-0) beat Georgia Tech 26-7, with Watson going 32 of 48 on completed passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns.

Jackson Was Even Better

Jackson was even more prominent against Marshall in a 59-28 victory in Week 4, with the sophomore throwing for a career-high 417 yards and accounting for seven touchdowns, including five from passes.

The last time Louisville and Clemson met, the Tigers came away with a 20-17 victory last September.

Interestingly, there have been significant movements in Vegas from what was posted at the start of the season.

In August, Clemson was entered as a 10-point favourite for this home clash, but it’s Louisville, the team now favoured by 2 heading into Saturday’s battle.

Also on Saturday, No. 4 Michigan is bracing itself for what is expected to be a very challenging encounter with one of the nation’s in-form programs, No. 8 Wisconsin at Michigan Stadium, in Ann Arbor.

Kick-off for this matchup is set for 3:30pm ET, with these two teams meeting for the first time since 2010.

The Wolverines (4-0) have not beaten an AP Top 10 ranked team since 2008, and are on an 11 consecutive game losing streak, according to the stats guru.

Last time out, the Badgers (4-0) routed Michigan State 30-6 over the weekend, while Michigan thrashed Penn State 49-10 on Saturday as well.

In the other AP Top 25 games involving ranked v ranked teams, No. 11 Tennessee is at No. 25 Georgia, looking to build on last weekend’s magical come from behind 38-28 win over Florida to end their 11-game losing streak in that series.

The Vols are heavily favoured by 71.6-percent, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index to win this game, with the oddsmakers listing the home side as 3.5-point favourites.

Tennessee beat Georgia 38-31 last year to end a five-game losing streak to the Bulldogs, but the Vols are searching for their first win in Athens since 2006.

Elsewhere on the college football schedule for Saturday, No. 1 Alabama will play host to Kentucky, No. 2 Ohio State returns from a rested week against Rutgers at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, No. 12 Florida State meets North Carolina at home, No. 9 Texas A&M travels to South Carolina, while at Amon G.
