Week 8: College Football Schedule, ESPN3, Channels, Times On Oct. 21

MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert — The following is the college football schedule, live stream and TV channels for the games taking place in Week 8 on Saturday (21).

No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Penn State and No. 4 TCU are the Top 5 teams in action this week and two of the three are expected to be tested at home.

The top-ranked Crimson Tide (7-0, 4-0 SEC) go in search of their eighth straight win this season when they host Tennessee (3-3, 0-3) at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

After the winning the first two games of the season, the Volunteers have dropped two of the last three and the visitors will try to avoid a third defeat in a row.

Alabama has been favored to win heavily by ESPN’s Football Power Index, which is giving Nick Saban men a 97.8 percent chance to win at home.

Meanwhile, the second-ranked Penn State (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) will be well-rested for its first battle against a ranked team this season.

The Nittany Lions will welcome the visit of No. 19 Michigan (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) at Beaver Stadium at University Park, with this game going off at 7:30 p.m. ET and live on ABC. WatchESPN will provide the live stream.

The Wolverines labored to an overtime 27-20 win at Indiana last week and will need to improve if they are going to upset the home side.

TCU is the other AP Top 5 team in action in Week 8.

The Horned Frogs (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) will take on Kansas (1-5, 0-3) and ESPN’s Football Power Index is giving the home side a 99 percent chance to pick up the victory at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

In other games involving AP Top 25 teams in Week 8, No. 11 USC and No. Notre Dame meeting at Notre Dame Stadium, while No. 8 Miami will entertain Syracuse.
