MANCHESTER CITY
TEAM NEWS

Manchester City will be without central midfielder Fernandinho for the trip after the Brazilian was sent off in a Premier League outing over the weekend.

The Citizens were unsuccessful with their appeal, which means Fernandinho begins a four-match suspension.

He joins countryman Fernando, who picked up a knock, as well as Ilkay Gundogan (knee) and Leroy Sane (muscle) on the injury list.

Another midfielder, Fabian Delph could return, while centre-back captain Vincent Kompany (knee) has been ruled out despite returning to training this week.

WEST HAM UNITED
TEAM NEWS

For West United, Sofiane Feghouli will be available for selection after the Hammers won their appeal against his red card in the loss to Manchester United.

Mark Noble, who started on the bench in the 2-0 defeat against United is in line for a return after recovering from a knock he picked up at Leicester

Defenders Sam Byram and Reece Oxford have returned to training following away spells and could be on the bench but Cheikhou Kouyate and Andre Ayew have left for the African Nations Cup.

James Collins, Arthur Masuaku, Diafra Sakho, Alvaro Arbeloa and Gokhan Tore are all injured.

Heading into the game, West Ham will be hoping to improve their recent record against Manchester City, having won just two times in 15 league and cup games against the Citizens.
