After the slow start from either side, this game has probably come at the right time for both franchises as they start their own rebuilding process.
The 49ers (0-2), who sit at the bottom of the NFC West standings, are searching for their first win of the season, following defeats in Week 1 and Week 2.
San Francisco has struggled offensively this season after tallying just 12 points from two games, following defeats to Carolina and Seattle to start the campaign.
Los Angeles (1-1) began the term with a commanding 46-9 victory over the Indianapolis Colts but fell 27-20 to the Washington Redskins in Week 2 on Sunday.
Both teams enter the game with injury problems with the 49ers reporting that LB Reuben Foster (ankle) and S Eric Reid (knee) are both out due to injuries.
Listed as questionable for the game are LB Eli Harold (foot), S Jaquiski Tartt (neck), S Jimmie Ward (hamstring) and TE George Kittle (hip).
Meanwhile, for the Rams, the club released that RB Malcolm Brown (hamstring) and CB Kayvon Webster (shoulder) have not practiced this week, and along with TE Gerald Everett (thigh) who has been limited, are all questionable for Thursday.
