MILAN (Sporting Alert) — Striker Mario Balotelli and midfield skipper Riccardo Montolivo both misses out for AC Milan for Monday’s Serie A clash with Atalanta at San Siro.
Balotelli, who has been strongly linked with a move back to the English Premier League (EPL) with Chelsea, misses out as he continues to recover from flu symptoms, which has been bothering him in the last two days.
His fellow Italian countryman Montolivo, meanwhile, has had a muscular problem which he picked up in training and will not feature today.
Elsewhere, Sulley Muntari is out suspended, while Stephan El Shaarawy, Ignazio Abate, Valter Birsa and Kevin Constant are injured.
Robinho and Alessandro Matri lead the attack for AC Milan, while Kaka is also among the starters for the hosts who will be hoping for three points as they seek to move up in the standings.
