DENVER (Sporting Alert) — Inactive players for the AFC Championship game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Colorado on Sunday.
Wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is inactive for the Patriots after suffering a concussion in the last outing and was listed as limited all week.
However, fellow receiver Aaron Dobson has recovered from a foot problem and is active for the game.
Denver (14-3) got to this stage by beating the San Diego Chargers 24-17 last week, while the New England (13-4) dismissed the challenges of Indianapolis Colts to win 43-22.
Sunday’s AFC Conference Championship game is repeat of the Week 12 fixture between the sides when the Patriots handed the Broncos the second of their three defeats of the regular season with a 34-31 overtime result on Nov 24.
That thrilling contest saw New England coming back from a 24-0 halftime deficit, after outscoring Denver 21-0 in the third quarter on the way to win in Foxborough.
