(Sporting Alert) — Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is expected to make several changes to his side for Tuesday’s Capital One Cup clash with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Expected to start are veteran goalkeeper Brad Friedel, while midfielders Sandro, Erik Lamela and Lewis Holtby are also expected to feature in the starting team as well.
Jermain Defoe is in the squad, but faces a late fitness test prior to the start of the game before a decision is made on whether he’ll play or not.
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is set to make changes to his side as well for the all English Premier League tie.
