Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided to stay with Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell in his starting XI for today’s game after he netted in the 3-0 win over Swansea on Saturday.

Campbell will form an attacking force with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud, with Wenger still missing several key players, including Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey.

French defender Laurent Koscielny is on the bench as he continues to recover from a minor hip problem, so Gabriel Paulista will start at centre-back alongside Per Mertesacker.

As expected, Mathieu Debuchy comes into the team at right-back for the injured Hector Bellerin, who has a groin problem.

Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla both start in midfield, while Petr Cech, who was busy in the first meeting in London, is expected to be heavily involved again tonight.

Bayern Munich, in the meantime, are showing two adjustments from the side that played to a 0-0 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the league last Friday.

David Alaba starts in the back and Thomas Muller starts in support of striker Robert Lewandowski.

Arjen Robben, who is back from injury, is on the bench, but is expected to play some part in this contest.
