(Sporting Alert) — Expected right-back Bruno and midfielder Dale Stephens are both missing for Brighton’s Sky Bet Championship play-offs semi-final first leg clash with Derby at the Amex Stadium on Thursday.

Bruno, who had missed last weekend’s thrilling 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest to snatched a top-six Championship finish ahead of Reading, is again out with the groin problem that kept him out of that game as well.

Stephens, in the meantime, has an ankle injury and will not feature.

Defender Matt Upson has recovered from an ankle problem and starts expected to be fit, but striker Will Hoskins, despite recovering from a long-term knee problem, isn’t in the match day squad.

Meanwhile, forwards Jamie Ward and Chris Martin, defender Jake Buxton, and midfielders Craig Bryson and George Thorne all start for Derby.

Midfielder Will Hughes and forward Patrick Bamford are both on the bench for the visitors.
