BOSTON (Sporting Alert) — Former Boston stars Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett both start for the Brooklyn Nets against the Celtics on Sunday night at TD Garden.

All-Star point guard Deron Williams will continue to come off the bench, with rookie head coach Jason Kidd sticking with Shaun Livingston in the starting lineup.
The on form Joe Johnson and Alan Anderson are the others in the starting five for the Nets (19-22) which have won its last four contests and nine of its last 10 games overall.
Meanwhile, Boston Celtics (15-30) head coach Brad Stevens confirmed that Avery Bradley, Jerryd Bayless will both miss the game.
Forward Brandon Bass will start at the four tonight, with Jared Sullinger starting at center.
Boston says Kris Humphries will come off the bench.
