As expected, Tom Brady is activated and is ready to take back his starting position at quarterback, after completing a four game-game suspension.

However, among the players inactive today for the Patriots (3-1) is OL Marcus Cannon, who failed to come through a pre-game fitness test and will likely be replaced by Cameron Fleming in the starting position.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) is active for this week, with running back LeGarrette Blount (hip), wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) are also all active.

We are expecting Edelman to see a high-volume of targets in today’s game, while it might be a good idea to limit the game time of Gronkowski, who is healthier, but is still not 100-percent, sources are saying from the camp.

Cornerbacks Justin Coleman and Eric Rowe, as well as running back Brandon Bolden and tight end Greg Scruggs are among the inactive players today for New England, which is looking to rebound from last week’s 16-0 shut out defeat to the Buffalo Bills.

The Cleveland Browns (0-4) are searching for their first win this season.

New England starts this game with a 76 percent chance of handing the Browns their fifth defeat of the defeat, according to ESPN’s Football Index.

Browns inactives: QB Josh McCown, WR Corey Coleman, DB Tramon Williams, C Austin Reiter, C Cam Erving, TE Randall Telfer, TE Seth DeValve

Patriots inactives: OL Marcus Cannon, TE Greg Scruggs, CB Justin Coleman, CB Eric Rowe, DT Vincent Valentine, RB Brandon Bolden, DE Shea McClellin.
