Indianapolis, IN (Sporting Alert, Live Score Box) — The Indiana Pacers say center Andrew Bynum will not play Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse because of a knee problem.
Bynum will miss the game because of swelling to his knee with Indiana (49-17) saying he will have an MRI soon.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star center played 20-minutes in the 112-104 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, and finished with 15 points on 6 of 18 from the field and nine rebounds at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Also will not play is guard C.J. Watson, who will miss the contest because of a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia (15-51) is having an embarrassing season and has dropped its last 20 games, include going down 101-94 to the Pacers on Friday night.
