SHANGHAI, Sporting Alert — Spencer Dinwiddie scored 20 points and six Brooklyn players scored in double figures as the Nets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 114-111 in a preseason game on Thursday.
LeBron James scored 20 points to lead the way for the Lakers in the defeat at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.
Dinwiddie, who played 25 minutes off the bench, went 6 of 14 from the field, including 3 for 6 from long range, while dishing out seven assists for the Nets.
Forward Taurean Prince added 18 points, Dzanan Musa scored 16, while Rodions Kurucs collected 10 points and eight rebounds in the win.

Meanwhile, James shot 7 of 15 from the floor and had six rebounds for Los Angeles, which collected 18 points, six assists and five boards from veteran point guard Rajon Rondo.
Anthony Davis finished with 16 points, five assists and two blocks, Alex Caruso ended with 11 points, eight assists and three steals and Javale Mcgee added 10 rebounds, five blocks and six points for the Lakers, who shot 43 percent in the defeat.
The Nets shot 45 percent as a team from the floor and went 20 for 41 for almost 49 percent from 3-pointers.
